This wand is made of hand turned mahogany wood a little longer than 13 1/2" with a sealed core of fairy dust.

Mahogany is a hardwood which comes in a variety of colors and densities. This one is a faintly golden old ivory. Mahogany is one of the most common furniture woods as it is rot and insect resistant and its tight dense grain makes it easy to carve The design was freehand burned into the wood and will therefore neither smear nor fade. It is based on the illuminated manuscripts of the Renaissance. Many species of Mahogany are found all over south America and the South Sea Islands.

Not a toy and not suitable for children under 13.
